He has stood silently for more than 100 years in Cincinnati’s western-most community, Sayler Park. His life story is entwined with that community’s story, and the stories of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, and beyond.

Those stories include two US presidents, a vice-president, wealthy widows, politicians, farmers, real estate developers, the Ohio River, and most importantly, the people who have lived near The Indian since 1912.
