Dr. Harry A March, All-American

  • Delhi Community/Senior Center 647 Neeb Road Cincinnati, OH, 45233 United States (map)

Known in his lifetime as the "Father of Professional Football," Dr. Harry A. March  had careers as a journalist, physician, politician, theatrical impresario, soldier, and historian, as well as a sportsman.

Dr. March did more in his 64 years than many who lived decades longer. He lived a fascinating life encompassing six careers from America's Gilded Age through the Jazz Age to the threshold of the Second World War. He connected with many well-known people yet few people know his name today.

Get to know Dr. March and his many careers Monday, February 9, 2026, 7PM when the Delhi Historical Society presents, "Dr. Harry A. March, All-American."
